Is there a way to replicate the Jira Cloud Database locally?

Beth Starr September 22, 2014

We are wanting to create a dashboard for a JIRA project and would need to export the data from our On Demand Database.  Currently the type of Dashboard we want does not exist in the suite Atlassian has.  Is there anyway to pull the data down from the cloud into another database so we can create our Dashboard?

Hi Beth,

As an admin, you can use Backup Manager option. After that, just import the data into your JIRA Server. smile

Just follow the procedures here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Migrating+from+JIRA+Cloud+to+JIRA+Server

Please let us know if you have more doubts. smile

Cheers!

Backup -> download will give you an export (you can use it every 48 hours)

The import that into your own JIRA installation.  However, if you're going to start doing that, I'd recommend looking at moving off OnDemand/Cloud and moving to hosting that will support your other dashboards.

Or, if you don't want it in a JIRA format, you can scrape the data you need via REST.
