Is there a way to put together two JIRA Clouds into one?

Hi,

I'd like to put together two JIRA Clouds into one.

JIRA backup and import doesn't meet that, because importing one overwrite another.

Is there a way to do?

Regards,

Akira

Hi Akira,

the only way to do it is like this:

  • Install a server instance locally and import your biggest JIRA Cloud instance into it.
  • Import the projects from your other JIRA Cloud instance one by one into the local server instance (keeping in mind that all schemes, fields and so on already need to be available) using the project import tool
  • Upload this now merged server instance into the Cloud.

I've done this kind of merges before and I can assure you that it's not easy if your instances are big. Do also keep in mind that you loose all JIRA Agile information from your second Cloud instance if you do a project by project import.

Best regards,

Peter
