Is there a way to plan time against component and the numbers show up in an advanced custom view?

I have come across an issue with Tempo Time sheet that I am not able to get component planned times to show up in custom report views  in advanced mode. The  views gather issues based off a query and the reports have this data to  show. However if you plan against a component this does not show up in a custom  view. What is the solution to this problem?  JIRA has views that only gather issues it seems there needs to be a customizable report( that gets planned issues by component).  Thanks in advance.

The SQL for JIRA plugin provides a compact and comprehensive database model supporting all the JIRA elements like projects, versions and components. Furthermore, it supports JIRA JQL to filter issues in SQL queries.

Need a complementary add-on for nice data visualization? Then you might want to use the Birt Reports for JIRA which has specially been designed to work with SQL for JIRA and it provides a rich set of charts for visual advanced reporting.
