I currently have a tempo worklog distribution gadget to display the number of hours spent on certain support issues/tasks, shown in a pie chart and broken down by user. Is there a way to hide certain users from that pie chart? I can't think of a way to edit the filter's JQL to not display hours logged in tempo by certain users.
Hi @Peter Oliver ,
you are correct.
It is not possible to hide individual users worklogs from the gadget if you have the permission to view their worklogs in Tempo and they have created worklogs on the JIRA issues included in the filter.
You can create a feature request for this in our idea portal, please take a look at https://tempo-io.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/KB/pages/698908907/Tempo+Idea+portal for more information.
Best regards,
Susanne
So there's no way to hide certain users/groups of users after the fact? I have the necessary permissions to view the worklogs of all the people who have logged time on these issues, but for reporting purposes, I want to only display certain ones of them in the pie chart:

Hi @Peter Oliver ,
If a user has the permission to view worklogs of other users ( either via the JIRA Project permission: View all worklogs or the Team permission: View team worklogs), the worklogs will also be visible in the Worklog distribution gadget.
Please take a look at https://tempo-io.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/THC/pages/173899777/View+All+Worklogs+Permissions+for+a+Project and https://tempo-io.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/THC/pages/178618432/Granting+Users+Team+Permissions
for more information about these permissions.
Best regards,
Susanne Götz
