Is there a way to complete a sprint and have items not in the done column to not move the next sprint/backlog?

We have a column for items that are "ready to deploy" but not yet deployed. These items are in the to the left of the rightmost column (Done). We don't want to send these items to the backlog or next sprint, but also want to maintain the separate column on the scrum board.

You can map both "Ready to deploy" and "Deployed/Done" statuses into the "Done" column in the board. The tickets has to be moved to the last column in the board but they don't necessarily have to be the last step in the workflow. Whatever is done, by your team's definition, can be the last column on your board.

You can even have two boards, with issues moving from one board to another when it reaches a certain state.

thanks! Can you explain the two boards solution? I am a little confused.

The first board will have a filter of your default tickets "Project = ABC". The second board can have a status of "Project = ABC and status not in ("Open", "In Progres", "In Review").
