Is there a way to change an issue type for a request type?

I am in the process of setting up JSD. I created a bunch of request types, set up the fields I wanted, etc, then realized that the issue types on several of them are wrong. Is there a way to retroactively change the issue type for a request or Do I need to blow away the request type and start over?
