Is there a way to add/edit request type to all service desk projects ?

We are currently having to go into all projects one by one to add a new request type, is there a quicker way to do this in JIRA.

A request type is the same as an issue type, except JIRA Service Desk naming convention is different. Try this:

  1. Go to Settings > Issues
  2. Make sure you are on the Issue Types tab on the left
  3. You should see all your Issue Types (Request Types)
  4. Click on Edit
  5. Here you can change the Name/Image
