Is there a way in JQL to search if Project or Key has been updated?

Ann Cheng March 19, 2021

We've got a situation where projects/teams (outside of the project/team who will ultimately resolve it) are logging issues in their own Jira project instance (e.g. customer service). Some triaging is happening to get it to the right team and then is changing the project (and therefore key) to the appropriate Jira project to be acted upon.

Curious if there's a way to search/create a filter for issues where Project or Key has been updated? And if so what that might look like. I tried WAS and CHANGED but it seems "History searches do not support the 'project' field."

this isn't available OOTB. There are addon apps that can assist with finding issues that have moved between projects. There are a number of discussions in the Community on this and I encourage you to search them out to see if something strikes your fancy. Here is one example discussion of a possible solution - Jira-Cloud-Scriptrunner-Find-Issues-that-were-moved-from-other
