I've been looking through Atlassian Answers but cannot find a solution.
Our old helpdesk client allowed users to email in an issue (without having an account on the system). With JIRA, we were hoping to have the same functionality. We are an academic institution and get a lot of emails from alumni, current students and applicants. We do not want to create accounts for all the students as we fill it will become impossible to manage.
Any ideas? Is there a plug-in that offers this functionality?
