Is there a report that breaks down issues by Component?

Most of the reports I have found are at the project level.   However, I am struggling to find and/or generate reports that shows details at the Component level.   Ideally, I'd like to have something that shows things like tickets created vs tickets resolved by Component.  Or - a Summary of issues/tickets by status by component.  

 

Does this already exist somewhere?

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You could get to this data via a JQL.  If you go to Issues menu and search for issues, you can use the JQL as Component = "componentname".   You can edit the columns displayed on the far right by clicking the down tick by Columns and selecting the ones you want to see.

You can export that data to csv and manipulate in excel from there.
