Is there a problem with filtering on the Resolution Date of an issue?

Randy Erbacci February 10, 2017

When I move an issue to the 'Resolved' status and then search for it by the Resolution Date using the drop-down and selecting 'Between dd/mm/yy and dd/mm/yy' in my filter, I cannot find it if I set the end date (the date after the 'and') to the same date the issue was resolved. It will only appear in my results if I set the end date to the day AFTER I resolved it. Any ideas?

Hi Randy,

I think, these dates are meant with an imaginary timestamp of 00:00 am.

So, the first date is always included, the last date never.

Best regards

Thomas

Hi Thomas, thanks for your quick reply. If that's the case then that would certainly explain why I'm seeing what I'm seeing. This is good information. I would've thought that the imaginary timestamp would include the entire day with the imaginary timestamp being something like 24:00. Regardless, thanks again for your time and explanation. -Randy
