Is there a limit to how many stories or story points can be associated to an epic?

We have an epic that has 40 tickets already associated with it and 68 story points. We can drag another story which has 48 points into the epic; however, when we leave the page and come back to the planning board, the ticket is no longer associated to the Epic.

There is no limit AFAIK. Do you see any errors in the java console in the browser by dragging and dropping the Story or in the backend JIRA logs?

This question is closed. There doesn't appear to be any limit. It appears to be a Structure synchronize issue. We will work with ALM Works. Also, noticed that Google Chrome extensions can cause this to be a little flaky as well.

Would be interested in the answer. While I have not had an issue with adding strories to Epic, I have found that it takes a very ling time when you link up to an Epic with a lot of Stories linked.
