Is the advance filtering over backlog gone in JIRA Cloud?

Jan Kouba October 8, 2024

Hello,

After migration to JIRA Cloud, I do no longer see the option to switch from basic filtering to advanced JQL in the Backlog view, I see only the the basic set of filters. Is the advanced query removed in JIRA Cloud or is it configurable? See screenshot of the advance query for reference with the feature switching between basic and advance filtering which I'm missing.

Thanks,

Jan

Hi @Jan Kouba ,

As far as I know, whether it is local deployment or Cloud the BacklogView does not support the JQL query function. It seems that you have installed some plug-ins when deploying locally?

Thanks for the answer, I will check with my JIRA admin.

Confirmed with my IT this was plugin which does not exist for JIRA Cloud. (or at least is not known to them).
