Is it still possible to import from redmine in JIRA software?

When running the Update check, the overview page mentions Redmine Importers Plugin as being incompatible without notice of an upgrade being available for JIRA Software.

Is it still possible to import projects from Redmine in JIRA Software?

I did not have an environment at my disposal yet, and did not want to go through the work of setting everything up just for taking a look at one feature. I was hoping others would be able to quickly take a look in their already existing setup.

However, for other reasons, setting up a new JIRA trial instance was needed anyway, so I went ahead and can confirm that the feature is still available in JIRA 7.

I have not tried it personally but I would think that it is still possible. Why don't you give it a go on a Test Environment?
