Is it possible to search entries reported by inactive users?

Observe that I cannot search anymore inactive users? Any way to search them?

I know the name is underlined and it won't give you a hint, but if you type the name correctly, it will still do the search - I've just tried it

Thanks! But it doesn't work consistently. 

Got error (Error in the JQL Query: Expecting either 'OR' or 'AND' but got 'Rose'. (line 1, character 17)) on some.

Could you show me the complete JQL query that generates that error, because what you show above and what you asked has been answered. The error you're now reporting has nothing to do with an inactive user, I don't think
