Is it possible to remove '[JIRA]' from the subject line of our email notifications?

Is it possible to remove '[JIRA]' from the subject line of our email notifications? We are using OnDemand. Removing '[JIRA]' would make it much easier to sort the inbox by ticket number in the subject line.

Yes, this is customizable under the "General Configuration" "Email From" line. I believe the default is:

Email from	${fullname} (JIRA)

Simply remove (Jira) or modify it and you should be set!

We had the same question for the server edition.  we were able to get it working using the following link
