Is it possible to only email watchers when a ticket is complete? (Jira) Edited

My watchers do not want emails every time the ticket changes swim lanes, they only want to know when it is complete.  Is it possible to customize this?

Add to the final transition of your workflow a new custom event (e.g. name "Complete Event"). Now edit the notification scheme and remove watchers from all events, but the new created "Complete Event".
