Is it possible to not allow users to remove stories once they are in the sprint?

This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Removing an Issue from a Sprint

I need to limit remote developers and other users from being able to remove or add stories or tasks to active sprints. Is this possible?

In addition to what Damien said, restrict the "Schedule Issues" too as documented here:

Hi Eddie, 

• You will need to have the 'Edit Issue' permission in the project to which the issue belongs.
  
  

So, just change these permission and it will be okay
