Hi everybody,
We have JIRA configured so admins get emails for every JIRA issue created and any time an issue has been updated (status update, comments, etc.). The problem is that, when there is a lot of traffic, it's easy to miss comments because all emails look the same on their subject line which is just "[JIRA] (issue code) issue name".
Is there a way to have subject lines be different based on what triggered the email? Something like "[JIRA] (New Comment) issue name" / "[JIRA] (New -> In Progress) issue name", etc.
Thank you,
Antonio
Hi Antonio,
It depends on whether you are using JIRA Server or Cloud. For Server, you should be able to modify templates for different actions such as issue created, issue deleted and etc. I don't think this is possible in Cloud due to the restrictions.
A good place to look at more details would be in Customizing email content.
I hope this is what you are looking for.
Best regards,
Lenard
