I am trialling Service Desk within our customer support team, and want to link its issues to our Jira Software development issues.
Service Desk and Jira Software are both cloud hosted, however on separate atlassian sub-domains. I have successfully enabled reciprocal Application Links between them both however when attempting to link issues Jira returns 'We can't find an issue with the key XYZ'. The same issue occurs on both sites. Linking via full URL doesn't work either.
You need to use web-links when pointing to an issue in another system - issue links only function locally within the current system.
