Is it possible to get a digest notification?

When I am watching a Jira and someone does a series of tasks (e.g. they may mark it as ready to test, add a comment, log some work etc) I get an email for each task. Is there any way to get 1 email?

It is not possible in JIRA without plugins and such plugins are not allowed in onDemand instance.

A workaround would be to create a filter to find issues changed after a purituclar time and subscribe to the filter at configured intervals. This will only get you the list of updated issues and you will have to look at the issues in JIRA to find out what was actually changed.
