Is it possible to copy a value from one field to another automaically

We are using nFeed to connect our jira System to anexternal customer data database.

In Nfeed fields it is not possible to unse the content Search (~) in the jira advance search function.

So we want to copy the result value of the SQL Query in one Nefeed field automativcally to a Jira Text field.

Is it possible to do this on an Transition for example after the creation of the issue

Hi Thomas ,

I think the nFeed customfields are searchable you should recheck the configuratin or raise a issue here . If you want to copy values from this field to another then there is a postfunction available with the Jira Misc Workflow extensions which can copy value from field to another field .

I have oenend a issue at valiantys jira protal last week.

They told me that the search Value (~) is not possible now
