Is it possible to automatically "start progress" of an issue after assign it?

Hi everyone!

I would like to automatically set the action "start progress" after someone assigns an issue. Is it possible?

Do I have to change the Default Workflow to do this?

Thanks!

No. Assigning an issue is an action outside the workflow.

Although you could move some of it into the workflow and get some flexibility there, you'd still have the "assign issue" options available in the general actions

If you were not using OnDemand, you could use the "auto-transition listener" - that can catch "assign" events and push issues through the workflow.

Thanks Nic Brough! Actually, I'm using the OnDemand version. I've found a way to do it creating a new workflow. I created a "post condition" that automatically assign the issue to him when the progress is started. So, I changed the way to start the treatment of my issues.

Thanks one more time!
