Is it possible to automatically create a jira ticket on an action or workflow? I would like to when a ticket reaches a particular state create a related task or ticket and assign it to someone. The use case is when a new feature moves to a building state I would like to create a task to create documentation and assign it to our documentation specialist. I have JIRA on demand.
I think it's not possible as all the add-ons that may help you achieve that are not availbale for OnDemand JIRA.
The only option I see is to implement your own add-on or contribute to Jira Suite Utilities for example ( I saw their code is in guthub, so I assume it's open source )
