Is it possible to assign deadlines to tasks in the Kanban issues scheme

I want to be able to put a deadline on the tasks raised in JIRA. Visible to all to keep the team working to a schedule.

A lot of us use the built-in "due date" for this, but if you wanted a separate deadline, yes, you can add a custom date or date/time field for it.

Thanks for your advise, i'm obviously a novice with JIRA and appreciate the suggestion.

Hi @Scott Humphrey ,

Deadline means Due date ?

If Yes

You can able to display Due Date on Cards in Kanban.

As per thee issue FKP-1 Due date is 15-JAN-2021.

are you looking for these kind ?

Go to Kanban Board --> Board settings -->  Card Layout --> Add Due Date field.

Also Place the Due Date field on Screens for Tasks

Very useful, thanks, it's exactly what i needed to acheive.
