Is it possible to add parent issuekey to the Email notification when sub-task is created?

We are using JIRA to handle workflow for IT project requests.  Part of how we have our instance setup allows for developers and requestors to send Q&A via a sub-task type.

As the requirements are refined, multiple questions are created, but when the notifications are sent out, there is no reference to the parent issuekey.  Users that are notified have to click on the sub-task in order to find the parent.

Is there a possible way to modify notifications (email) so that if there is a parent issuekey that it is included in either the subject or body of the email?
