Is is possible to order a label search by who added the label?

We have a TBD (to be discussed) label which we add to issues that we want to raise at weekly meetings. Once they are discussed we remove the label.

In order to streamline meetings though, we would like to update our "labels = TBD" query to include an "ORDER BY" term which groups all of the issues raised by a given person together. That way an individual can can raise all of their issues in one go. Unfortunately since it might not be the assignee or reporter requesting the discussion, there appears to be no suitable term to sort on.

Alternatively, can anyone suggest a better workflow for dealing with identifying tickets which need to be discussed, when those tickets may come from a variety of JIRA projects with differing workflows? If there were a solution to https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/68293 then that would be a good start, but there have been no useful answers so far.

Hi Mark,

You could use a custom user field to indicate who's the person responsible for raising this issue. You could even use this field to indicate whether or not this issue needs to be raised:

  • if field not filled in: issue not raised
  • if field filled in: issue raised

Just a quick idea.

Best regards,

Peter
