I have installed Tempo Planner (v 2.2.1.1) and I also see Tempo Planning API in the Add On. But when i browse for REST services using JIRA "REST API Browser", I don't see any REST API related to Tempo? Are REST APIs installed as part of Tempo? How can i access them? Since i don't find good reporting capabilities in Tempo Planner, I am trying to use the REST API.
Hi Ramakrishnan,
the Tempo Planning API is a Tempo System Plugin and is used to handle Planning items both in Tempo Timesheets and Tempo Planner.
There are several REST API´s in Tempo, but they are not public. To view these API´s in the JIRA REST Browser, you need to uncheck the "Show only public API´s". Please take also a look at https://developer.atlassian.com/docs/developer-tools/using-the-rest-api-browser#UsingtheRESTAPIBrowser-UsingtheRESTAPIBrowserlocally for more information.
We have started documenting some of the REST API´s available in Tempo. Please take a look at https://tempoplugin.jira.com/wiki/display/JTS/Tempo+REST+APIs.
Kind regards,
Susanne
