Is JIRA for your server really $10.00 for ever and ever, or does it stop working after a month?

I am a sole dev using a free account on FogBugz on demand but would like it on my server. with my backups. my problems.

I see JIRA is more popular and from all that can gather it's just $10.00 to put it on my server.

Is that a perpetual license? Or will JIRA for my server die at the end of the month?

You will have a 10 user license for 1 year (including support). After that year you only can upgrade to versions that were released during your paid period but your JIRA will still run.

I love that. I am sold.... I thought I was going to have to request for open source license but if its 10.00 I am so buying it!!!! Thank you!!!
