Is Atlassian providing a standard version of tomcat in bundles?

For the bundled installs, is Atlassian providing a ‘standard’ version of Tomcat or are they backporting security fixes/patches into the bundle?

To add to Rodrigo's answer - it's "standard". It comes with the version that it does. It's not a special version of Tomcat.

Thank you, that is what I needed to know.

The Tomcat version is updated almost in all new major versions in Confluence. This answer may help you as well smile

Cheers,

Rodrigo
