Integrate a 3rd party subversion repository into Jira

Bobby Henderson November 20, 2012

Hi There -

We use a third party host for a subversion repository, but want to be able to integrate that with JIRA projects (specifically we'd like to be able to include an issue ID in commit messages and see the commit, with a link to the detail, appear in JIRA. Please can you let us know what our options are with regard to this on the JIRA on demand service we're using

Please can someone show me what to do/pass this on?

Hi Bobby,

Unfortunately, JIRA OnDemand does not currently support external SVN repositories. Only supports either the old Fisheye/Crucible bundle , or Bitbucket or Github repositories.

With the Fisheye/Crucible End of Life announcement it is not possible to purchase this for OnDemand, but you can still run it locally, after which you can Configure an Application Link between JIRA OnDemand and Fisheye/Crucible local, but you would need to move your SVN repository from your current host.

Cheers,

Ivan.
