Install Problem

After some tests on our testserver, we're trying to install it on another server, but we're getting this error

Use default ports (HTTP: 8080, Control: 8005) - Recommended [1, Enter], Set custom value for HTTP and Control ports [2]
./atlassian-jira-6.1.1-x64.bin: line 466: 32381 Killed $INSTALL4J_JAVA_PREFIX "$app_java_home/bin/java" -Dinstall4j.jvmDir="$app_java_home" -Dexe4j.moduleName="$prg_dir/$progname" -Dexe4j.totalDataLength=200854338 -Dinstall4j.cwd="$old_pwd" -Djava.ext.dirs="$app_java_home/lib/ext" "-Dinstall4j.executionMode=console" "-Dsun.java2d.noddraw=true" "$vmov_1" "$vmov_2" "$vmov_3" "$vmov_4" "$vmov_5" $INSTALL4J_ADD_VM_PARAMS -classpath "$local_classpath" com.install4j.runtime.launcher.Launcher launch com.install4j.runtime.installer.Installer false false "" "" false true false "" true true 0 0 "" 20 20 "Arial" "0,0,0" 8 500 "version 6.1.1" 20 40 "Arial" "0,0,0" 8 500 -1 "$@"

What means this error?

Hi Daniel,

It may be something difference between the two servers, you may check if the server you're seeing this issue matches JIRA requirements and if the .bin file is not corrupted:

ecrnt-06:Downloads tcomasseto$ md5 atlassian-jira-6.1.1-x64.bin
MD5 (atlassian-jira-6.1.1-x64.bin) = 735707ce44127e76a4f9b2c7118bc050

Cheers

If anybody else is having similar problems=>

Our vserver provider doesn't allow JAVA / JAVA Applications with their cheepest package.:D

After they activated this for our account, we were able to finish the installation.

Hope this helps if anybody else have similar problems
