Looking to increase the width of a Select List Cascading Custom Field in the 'Raise a Request' screen of a JIRA Service Desk deployment however not having much luck.
Tried a couple different variations of javascript in the Announcement Banner and edits to the edit-cascadingselect.vm / search-cascadingselect.vm files. Changes were applied to the parent and child lines.
These seem to take effect within the 'Create Issue' screen but not for 'Raise a Request'
Custom field is s2id_customfield_10112
Any thoughts?
And if you update the code, as Nic says, it will be for ALL fields of that type, not just the one.
Service Desk uses its own templates for rendering the fields. You'd have to dig into the code of that, change them and recompile it.
I don't know where they are rendered, I've not looked into the code of SD in any depth at all.
