Include issue type in customer notification template

I want to include the {issue.issueType.name} in a customer notification on a team managed Jira Service Management project.

In the notification editor, it has an Insert variable button but only contains a small subset of variables.

When I attempt to enter variables not included in the list such as the issue type, the preview does not recognise it as a variable.

I have tried a few other variables not included in the list and it does not work.

Hi @Sam Terezakis 

The variables you mentioned will work in Jira Automation Rules.

For the JSM Customer Notifications, based on the suggetsion, Atlassian Did not add support to include the other possible variables.

It would be cool to see Customer Notifications support all the smart values supported bu Jira Automation.
