In "External System Import": does Linked "Blocked" work? in "Team based" (Next Gen) projects?

I've been trying to put in "Blocked by" issues in bulk using CSVs with the "External System Import".

I create 6 new tasks:

Issue TypeSummaryDescription
TaskTEST 6Whee
TaskTEST 5Whee
TaskTEST 4Whee
TaskTEST 3Whee
TaskTEST 2Whee
TaskTEST 1Whee

Then I add the blocker tasks to the keys of the tasks freshly created:

Issue TypeKeySummaryDescriptionblocked by
TaskOTA-32TEST 6Whee
TaskOTA-31TEST 5WheeOTA-32
TaskOTA-30TEST 4WheeOTA-31
TaskOTA-29TEST 3WheeOTA-30
TaskOTA-28TEST 2WheeOTA-29
TaskOTA-27TEST 1WheeOTA-28

However, I keep getting this error:

  • Unexpected failure occurred. Importer will stop immediately. Data may be in an unstable state: At least one given IssueParentAssociations must not be empty!

This works fine when I try this on a "Classic" or "Company Based" project.

Is this known bug with Next Gen projecs?
