In a sub-task show (display/link) the parent story ID

Ex: sub-task "BIND-225" belongs to story ID "BIND-124"

From this view its easy to see the relationship but if you're inside a sub-task its not apparent though you can use the breadcrumbs to navigate.

Developer asked if there's a way to display the parent story ID with the sub-task so they can just click to link back to the story. Maybe even display it in the view below as a hyper link within the sub-task?

Thanks.

Hey Vu,

maybe implementing a scripted field with the help of the Script Runner add-on would be a way to solve this requirement.

But to be honest, I'm not sure if the field will be displayed in this view, as it is a "special" custom field type. But maybe you give it a try

Cheers,

Julian
