Import project jira server

Can I import project from backup of JIRA Server v7.1.7 to JIRA Server v.7.1.9?

Or it need 2 version to be exactly the same?

Hi manhnh,

The documentation about restoring from backup says that "JIRA versions do not match", but they have instructions on what to do which basically say to set up a test JIRA instance identical to your target instance, try to back up on it, and if it works, then use a backup from the test instance to pass it to your actual target instance which will be the same version.
