Hi

We are planning to change the Server time of our JIRA instance from GMT-8 to GMT+0.

I want to know from you if there is any impact on any of the issues (or time logs or anything else)  if we do this?

We use Tempo and JIRA Agile on our instance.

The reason why we are doing this is to bypass a bug in Tempo (which is a separate discussion altogether)

Rahul

 Hi Rahul!

The timezone used by JIRA is controlled by the Java Virtual Machine which uses the system time zone by default, so change your timezone will probably change JIRA timezone too, bit this will not impact in your issues in anyway. Anyway, I would recommend you to stop JIRA during the reconfiguration of your server.

Cheers!
Teilor
