If a make a private projects kanban public, can everyone see the tickets without seeing the details?

Carmen Silva November 2, 2017

I have a project that has visibility restrictions.  I created a kanban board for this project that only displays the following:

  1. Epic Name
  2. Ticket Number
  3. Status
  4. Assignee

I want to share the board via an iframe for everyone in the company to see the status of their request, however, if they attempt to open the ticket, the details should remain private.

Can I accomplish this by setting the kanban board's permission to Public?  My concern is that if I set the kanboan board to public, I don't want it to set my entire project to public.

Thanks.
