If I link Jira to my GIthub repo, how can I prevent testers from seeing the code?

Callum MacGregor January 22, 2013

I am currently using Github's inbuilt iussue tracking. I am considering moving to Jira. If I do so I would like to have integration with Github but I would also like to control whether my testers (who are from an agency) have access to the code. I want them to be able to test fixes, view issues and add issues without being able to view the code itself. In Github this is not possible. Is it possible in Jira?

You can limit the user or group from viewing the source tab in your JIRA issues, checkout the permissions in this documentation. This will prevent them to see the commited code that will show in your JIRA issues.
