I want to identify for all users that are setup under the Jira Internal Directory the number of failed login attempts they have had and when this number breeches a limit, lock the account.
I'm aware of the other articles out there discussing this and realize that JIRA doesn't support this out of the box, so i was hoping to write something that can perform this for me using one of the JIRA API's.
Any ideas on where to start with something like this? Any code snippets or people that have implemented something like this before?
