I am using the default notification scheme however I have added send email to single user (me) for whenever an issue is created. I am not receiving an email when an issue is created by anyone. I do receive some emails like when a comment is added but nothing for issue created.
Notification helper shows Status: X receives notifications for the 'Issue Created' event
So I should be receiving the emails. I can't see any emails are being blocked or going to spam. A workaround is using automation to send me an email when an issue is created.
