Hi Kumari,

you actually can edit issue driven notifications in JIRA Service Desk Cloud and JIRA Service Desk Server (since Version 3.3.0). If you want to edit the footer of your email notifications you have to edit the HTML and plain text templates.

For more information please the following documentation for Cloud:

https://confluence.atlassian.com/servicedeskcloud/managing-service-desk-notifications-732528936.html

This is the documentation for Server 3.3.0:

https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/SERVICEDESKSERVER033/Configuring+service+desk+notifications

Unfortunately it is not possible to edit notifications regarding account events (e.g. account creation, agent invitations, ...)

Kind regards

Dominik

Actually, we are using JIRA Service Desk 2.6 version ; And Client currently don't wants to upgrade it to 3.3 version. And i don't find this feature in 2.6 version.

Hi Kumari,

You will need to edit 1 or more .vm files for this

You can find more information on https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver071/customizing-email-content-802592932.html

Regards

Dave

Hi Dave,

I was looking for .vm files which have been used in JIRA Service desk (by following the above link) for default notification so that i can edit it as per our requirement. But it seems like we can edit the notification for JIRA tool instead of JIRA Service desk.

Please guide me to perform the changes in JIRA service Desk notification.
