I have a project which has 3 boards. Filter for my boards show created bugs; however, they do not show on the board.

How do I make bugs show in the sprint or backlog on the rapid board

What type of board? If Kanban, if they have fix versions, it won't appear. You need to adjust the sub-query.

If Scrum, do they have a sprint associated with already, if yes, it won't appear in Plan, only in Work mode.

Have you tried to re-index once?

Your filter has to be something like
project = "yourprojectname" AND issuetype = Bug

And thats it. The only other reasons I can think of is that you don't have any bugs created. Or perhaps the issue is not visible to you.
