I had deleted my Confluence subscription and reactivated it. Where can I find my old files?
Hello Shobhit,
Welcome to Atlassian Community!
I saw that you created a ticket with our support related to the same question and it was already resolved.
As mentioned on our Data storage FAQ:
Data retention
Your site will be deactivated 15 days after the end of your current subscription period. Atlassian retains data for deactivated sites for 15 days (for evaluation sites) or 60 days (for paid subscription sites) after the end of your current subscription period.
Following this deactivation period (15 days for evaluation sites and 60 days for paid sites after the end of your subscription period), your product data will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
I'm sharing this information here in case other community members have the same question.
If you have any other questions regarding this matter, please feel free to reach out to us or through the ticket.
Regards,
Angélica
Hello Angélica,
I am still not clear on this.
Your answer mentions that the data will be stored for 15 days after unsubscribing.
But in my case I unsubscribed/Deleted confluence and subscribed again in a matter of 5 days and I couldn't retrieve the documents I had forgotten to take backup of.
I asked the community and got to know that there is a long approval flow that needs to be done before I will be able to get the documents

Hi Shobhit,
That's correct. When the site is deleted it won't be possible to get the documents through the site. Atlassian keeps the data for 15 to 60 days and it's necessary approvals from several people to get this backup and restore the site.
Regards,
Angélica
