I don't know my existing directory. What content should it have?

When upgrading JIRA (4.4.5 to 5.0.6): (I used default paths to setup 4.4.5)

Setup - JIRA 5.0.6:

Upgrade an existing JIRA installation.

Existing installation directory: ???

I think I have to choose my JIRA home directory right? But I don't know which one it is.

Can someone please name a couple of commons directories and files from the directory I need for this upgrade?

I'm guessing it's one of these:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Atlassian\JIRA (contains e.g. : JIRAplay Icon)

C:\Program Files (x86)\Atlassian\JIRA\atlassian-jira (contains e.g. : WEB-INF directory)

C:\Program Files (x86)\Atlassian\Application Data\JIRA (contains e.g. : .jira-home.lock file)

I see in

C:\Program Files (x86)\Atlassian\JIRA\atlassian-jira\WEB-INF\classes\jira-application properties file,

it tells me a path to "jira.home"

# Do not modify this file unless instructed.

It is here to store the location of the JIRA home directory only

and is typically written to by the installer.

jira.home = C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Atlassian\\Application Data\\JIRA

Is that the directory i should use?

Thanks.
