I don't have edit button on Introduction Gadget. Why?

I don't have edit button on Introduction Gadget. Why? I want to change my text.

To modify the content of the Introduction gadget, you can edit the value in the JIRA General Configuration admin screen:

1) From any JIRA screen, type "gg" to bring up the admin quicksearch.

2) Type "General Config" and press enter.

3) Click "Edit Configuration..."

4) Enter your new introduction text into the Introduction field and save.

Incidentally, "editing" a gadget directly from the dashboard is actually just configuring it for that dashboard - even if you could edit it from there, the changes you made would only be seen by that user.
