I cannot find where I add story points in my boards stories.

This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Configuring estimation and tracking

So I added a new project and started adding stories to a backlog. I then placed them in a sprint and went to add stories. I can't find them when I edit the story. so I read this documentation and found out I have to go to board > configure > estimation and check story points and remaining estimate and time spent. After I did this, I went back to create a new story and still cannot find where these story points would be added. Am I missing something?

You have to add the 'Story Points' field in your 'Create' and 'Edit' screens. Or only on Edit if you just need it during Edit.
