I was able to resolve this issue by modifying my server.xml.

Hi Kathy,
You can attempt to start JIRA by running the starter directly to see if there is any difference:
JIRA_INSTALL/bin/start-jira.bat
After running this, monitor the logs to see if anything happens there as well:
JIRA_INSTALL/logs/catalina.out or JIRA_HOME/log/atlassian-jira.log
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
You need to read the log files to find out why JIRA is stopping.
