I can't create one board for two projects. Jira don't see the team-managed project.

I am adding two projects to one board, but Jira doesn't see the team-managed one.

Could you help to understand the reason?

Here are the projects I wanted to add:

But at the very first step, I can't add the second one:

Project Auto Scrum (team-managed) is not visible in the dropdown.

What is the reason?

Hello @Max

Quick filters do not add issues to boards. They allow you to change the current display to a subset of the issues that are already available.

To create a second board for a Team Managed project you need to create and save a Search Filter that is constructed to select the issues from the Team Managed project.

Then in the board creation process you create the board from a Saved Filter rather than an Existing Project.

The process is described in two articles:

Hi @Max

This is because team management projects have a single board and no other boards can be added to the project.

You can create a board on company managed project containing in team managed projects issues.

@Marc - Devoteam Thanks!

"You can create a board on company managed project containing in team managed projects issues." - here is your quote.

I've tried to create a new board to contain tasks from different projects. Also, I have added here quick filter with JQL script but some tasks are still not added.

Could you check pls what I am doing wrong?

Here step by step all my configurations:

1. I've added the board on the company-manag proj

2. I've created JQL script here:

On screen #2 are the tasks I need to display on the new board.

3. I've created the quick filter:

However, the tasks from project Auto Scrum are not visible here.

But why? My JQL was showing the tasks I needed, screen #2.

Tasks have a common status TO DO, so I have no idea why is it so(

Here is the quick filter info:

It would be great to get some info from you.

I am missing something, but I have no idea what is wrong.

Hi @Max

Quick filters don't add issues to a board, they are for filtering issues that are on the board, based on the boards filter.

On the new board, in the top right corner, select the 3 dots and select configure board.

In the "General" section , you see the board filter specified, this filter decides what issues are on the board.

Amend this filter.
